Darryl  Hall is a bassist born and raised in Philadelphia, lived in NYC for over a decade, and has lived now in France for many years. His style incorporates the essential foundation and feeling of groove and swing in the African American music diaspora. He performs on the upright and electric basses and embraces many different genres : jazz, soul, latin, gospel, spirituals and the blues.
